The Opposite of Underwhelmed.

The month of September will be anything but relaxed. In two weeks time, we will have Brindley's farewell, we will be going to Reno for races, celebrating my birthday, having Skyler's wedding, and then sending Brindley to the MTC. I'm not th best at handling my stress levels. I will definitely be needing a nice, RELAXING vacation once that's all over. Although, I will be stressed, I am very excited! Maybe not to make food for the farewell, but I'm excited for Brindley to be going and doing what she feels like she's supposed to. I'm also very excited to officially have Rachel be part of the family and to hopefully have more grand-babies before too long.

More Fun News

Some more exciting news....

Brindley has decided to serve a mission!!! She'll put her papers in within the next 2-4 months, then we'll find out where she's going! We're all pretty excited. :)

Someone's Turning 50!

My awesome Husband is turning 50 this month! I'm really excited to give him his present because I know he'll LOVE it, and the he has NO IDEA what it is!!!! Since I'm dying to tell him and can't, I'll blog about it!

They day of his birthday (April 27th) we are getting on a commercial flight and headed to Phoenix. When we land, we'll rent a car and drive about three hours to an airport where Eric will get to ride in and fly a P51. He loves these planes! I think if he could own one, he would be so so happy. But I am not about to buy him one, so just flying in one will have to do for now. :)

Bronzed Beauties

Brindley decided it would be fun to go on a trip...so, we took a girls trip to Hawaii! We stayed in a town house at Turtle Bay - so fun except for the small cockroach problem! We didn't really want to come home but we knew we would have some sad men if we didn't! Can't wait to go back though!

"We're just country boys and girls gettin down on the farm."

Well, there hasn't been much time to post, we've been pretty busy lately. Eric's mom Helen had a twisted bowel a while ago and spent several days in the hospital. So between visiting and spending the night and work and scouts, we haven't had too much sleep and have neglected some less important things. Helen is finally doing much better and is at the Stonehenge Rehab Center. We're glad she is feeling better and getting back on her toes a bit.
I have been able to start working on our basement again now that we aren't at the hospital so much. My mother has been staying with us for quite a while, and we have gotten a lot of painting done, so once we're all done there, we will be so close to having a finished basement - FINALLY! :D

Down on the Farm

Well I am starting a blog for my mutti. I don't know that she'll use it that much, but I'm bored and wanted to make one for her. :D
